After you have developed your business idea into a business plan and have secured financing, it is time to get started. The next steps to set up your business are:

1. Registering your business under a company name

2. Choosing a location and aquiring a company address

3. Registering with the tax office to receive a tax identification number

4. Applying for any other licences you might need

This series of short videos produced by the German chamber of industry and trade provides a good overview over the different steps. They might be a little different in each country, but are generally very similar.
