The average person spends 2 hours and 27 minutes on social media every day, checks their mobile device 159 times a day and it's anticipated that users will spend 4 trillion hours on social media in 2023. Your future customers are flodded with images, advertisements and information. How can you position your own brand and stand out in all that online noise? To be compelling you yourself first need to be clear about what it is you stand for.

In this topic, we will look at how to define what makes you unique and valuable enough to stand out from the crowd. At the end of this lesson, you will be expected to write your own vision and mission statements and to start thinking about your brand's name and logo.

You should think carefully about the name for your brand. You don't want to end up like the company "Boehringer Ingelheim" that had to create a video to teach us the pronounciation of its name. Then again, Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf might also not be the easiest name to pronounce wink
