Which kind of packaging could be appealing to your customer segment? In this chapter, we are giving you a broad overview of the different materials available and the equipment needed to package your product. Although buying packaging equipment might not be a priority for a start-up company, keeping the options for scaling-up in mind from the start might be useful. Cost of packaging will play an important role in your overall product cost. Last but not least, we will look at more sustainable packaging options, as your decisions will have an environmental impact, which might also be taken into consideration by your customers.
