Incubation
For a start-up it might be helpful to join an incubation program. These programs can be service providers or part of a government or non-government support program. They might also be located at a university or be part of a development aid program. Research the internet for incubator programs in your region. Talking to other entrepreneurs might also provide valuable information.
Incubation programs usually work in several steps. At the beginning of the process the entrepreneur is guided through the procdss of developing a viable business model. Many incubator programs then also provide a small amount of start-up capital. Once a start-up has been successfully established, it moves to an accelerator program, where assistance is given to grow the business and market. In the last phase these programs also sometimes link the entrepreneur to investors and capital.
