
Green Futures project aims is to create a bridge between academic knowledge and practical solutions to farmers and relevant stakeholders in Southern Africa through a platform of exchanged experiences.
It aims to empowerment of marginalised groups working in the agricultural sector, including women and smallholder farmers, as well as university students through knowledge transfer and capacity building activities;
Regional and local challenges – ie. climate change, agri-waste
managment, biodiversity loss, disappereance of indigenous crops, food
innovation needs, and data literacy – will be tackled by the consortium
through its
network of
experts and shared
evidence-based practices
