Dear team,

I would like to prepare a template for a downloadable certificate of participation for those, who have completed the e-internship. I have set up an evaluation form at the end of the course and am planning to save the setting in such a way that participants can only download the certificate after completing certain steps in the MOOC and after submitting the evaluation form. For the text on the certificate I would like to get your feedback. What would you like to see included? A full list of topics covered? A description of the course? A list of participating partner organisations/institutions? Should I add my digital signature, or should each partner be able to release certificates with their own signature (in that case the certificate would only be available after approval from the partner) Please let me know.

Greetings,

Anja

Dear Anja,
Greetings.

Based on my experience with the online course “Entrepreneurship in Food,” I would like to share the following thoughts regarding your request.

In my opinion, the best approach is to make the certificate directly downloadable by the participant immediately after completing the required tasks (for example, after submitting the evaluation form). I also suggest that the certificate include the list of contents covered during the e-internship, along with its duration. Furthermore, to ensure timely availability of the certificate once participants fulfill the requirements, I do not think it is necessary to include the signatures of all partners. It would be sufficient to place the logos of each partner on the certificate.

it is my thought, not HU!

Thank you.

I have now received new logos from two partners. Could you please nesure I am using the version you want to appear on the certificate. Please keep in mind that the more detailed the logo is, the harder it will be to read, as I need to make them all the same size.

I will wait with uploading until tomorrow morning. Please send me your final logo choice by then.

Greetings,
Anja

Dear Anja,

Thank you for raising these important points regarding the certificate template.

I agree with Tirusew’s suggestion that the certificate should be directly downloadable once participants complete all the required activities, including submission of the evaluation form. This approach makes the process efficient, timely, and user-friendly for participants.

I also support including a brief summary of the e-internship contents and duration on the certificate, as this gives the certificate more academic and professional value. In addition, displaying the logos of all partner institutions would be an excellent way to acknowledge collaboration and strengthen the credibility of the program without delaying certificate issuance through multiple signature approvals.

From my perspective, keeping the certificate simple, professional, and easily accessible is very important. A well-designed certificate that highlights the learning achievements, participating institutions, and course completion details will motivate participants and serve as meaningful evidence of their engagement in the e-internship program.

Thank you.

Dear Anja,

I concur with the proposed approach by HU Team. Allowing certificates to be automatically downloadable aftr completion of all required activities, including the evaluation form, would make the process more efficient and participant-friendly. It also ensures recognition of participants’ efforts and engagement in the e-internship programme.

I also support the inclusion of an overview of the e-internship content and duration, as it strengthens the academic and professional relevance of the certificate. Including the logos of all partner institutions is likewise an excellent way to reflect the collaborative nature of the project and enhance the credibility and visibility of the programme without creating unnecessary administrative delays related to signatures.

Good Morning all,

It is a great idea indeed.

I assume because it is already used in another course we know how to implement the system in order generate the system for issuing certificates. If we do and its simple then great.

I seem to recall us having a conversation pertaining putting all partners logos on the certificates some time ago and the output as I recall it was that it would / might be unfeasible for some of the larger institutions (HEI;s) to get approval. It is not an issue for some but for others it may be. I thought we decided that we put the Agrimocks logo and then maybe some blurb that says 'with consortium partners x,y,z.

I could well be wrong. In essence I support the idea/s but how easy it is to get permission is maybe a different conversation altogether.

Dear Anja, Following the comment given by Yahya, I also have a few suggestions that may help enhance the face value of the certificate: 1) The interwoven arcs that found at the top-left corner could instead be placed horizontally across the top of the certificate in a thinner style. 2) Moving “agriMokcs” just above “CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION” may improve the overall layout. 3) I would also prefer the partners’ logos to appear in color (as the color have their own meaning). Currently it appear in black (for me). Thank you for the wonderful work. As usual, these are my thoughts!

I also saw the certificate, and for me it looks great. Being able to download the certificate immediately after finishing the course would make accessibility much easier. I also agree with Tirusew’s idea of using colored partner logos. Thank you, Anja, for the great work.

Regarding the partner information we requested, we only received information for WEBIN and UFS. We would like to add the partner information to the website as well, so please other partners provide the remaining information we asked for.

Thank you

Dear all,
before I edit the certficiate over and over again I would like to have a final round of feedback of what should be changed.

Yitna pointed out that the EU logo is incorrect. Could the C&D team or Dragana please confirm which logo should be used?
Corli asked if this is it a Certificate of participation or completion, and if it is correct to call it a Erasmus Virtual Exchange Programme as in her view it should be a developed course in this programme. I would like to have a final verdict from the team on this one as well.
Regarding the logos in full colour, I have decided against it as it might cause trouble with some institutions if we go for the institutional branding route. In this case I followed the logo representation from the agrimocks wbsite, which means we follow project branding, not institutional branding, but still show the institutions that were involved.

Regarding the floral pattern on top instead of the corner that could be possible, would need a narrow line though, to allow enough space for all the text. Please can I have a vote from the team if they prefer the deco in the corner or a line on top. I will follow the majority decision. The ame for the order of AgriMocks above or below the line Certificate of.. Please let me know what you prefer.
Corli also noted some minor errors, which I will take out and I will also include mz name and designation under the signature line.
I will also change the phrase project planning to project devlopment to follow the module wording.
I will keep this discussion open until 3pm my time end take into consíderation your opinions received by then. After that The draft will go into final editing and be uploaded. Therefore, please let me know asap, what your preferences are.

Greetings,
Anja

Dear Anja and partners,
I hope you are doing well.

Grant agreement says that we can use both - Co funded and Funded by the EU. But having in mind that our project is co funded by the EU, and that we used Co funded logo in our deliverables uploaded to SYGMA, maybe it's better to stick to Co funded logo.

I noticed that we have Funded by EU logo in our templates for social media, so it would be good to change the logo there as well - or all partners should pay attention to change it before posting.

I'm not sure that I understood why we can't have logos in color (this gray line in my opinion doesn't match the rest of the certificate, but if it's need to be in that way, ok). Also, I like this floral pattern in the corner. Maybe we can make it smaller and put it in the other corner (so we have two smaller patterns in both corners, it would be more appealing to the eye).

Hope this helps,
Dragana

Dear Anja,

Thank you again for the nice work.

I still prefer to have the logo in color, as the logo carries its full meaning only when displayed in its own colors.

Thank you

I am cool with the certificate.
If the HEIs are allowed to use their logos and have approval to use them on the certificate then all good.

Dear Anja, thank you very much for creating this one. We understand the certificate is already quite full of information, but HAMK would still like to suggest adding some kind of timestamp/date and perhaps also the project website address, if feasible.
