This lesson explores a selection of different machines and equipment, which are commonly used in food processing.

The objective of this lesson is to give you a first overview of the possibilities for mechanization in food processing. As entrepreneurs usually start with small productions and are also often cash-bound, many of the bigger automatizations, which are the norm in modern large-scale food processing, are very likely not yet relevant for you. This lesson may nevertheless serve as a reference tool for future decision-making.

At the end of this lesson, you should be able to describe the differences between groups of equipment in regard to their mechanism and use cases.
