Choose one major processing step in the production of your future (or hypothetical) product. What kind of equipment do you need for this processing step?
Use the internet to research which companies produces or sell this kind of equipment. What are the different specifications on offer? Which one would meet your needs best? Why? How much would it cost?
Prepare a short documentation and upload it in the student folder to share the collected information with other students. You may also read the files uploaded by your fellow students to get more ideas.
Instructions:
- Name your uploaded file according to the equipment type
- In your doumentation briefly describe the product you are intending to make and for which processing step this particular piece of equipment is needed.
- Upload a picture of the piece of equipment.
- Provide a generic name of the equipment (e.g. blender, extruder, etc.)
- List the specifications of the piece of equipment
- Provide a source and a price for the piece of equipment
- Write a short justification why you think this is the right piece of equipment for your use case.
