Dear all,
Matt has raised some concerns about the structure of the current e-internship framework not being in alignment with the project proposal. He has developed an alternative framework, that instead of running the e-internship through meetings with the entrepreneur and mentorship meetings (plus some self-organized teamwork), puts the focus on the simulation offered by BizMetrics. Instead of running it as a culmination activity at the end of the e-internship, he suggests to run it as the focal point throughout a 3-6 weeks program. He shared the framework overview with some of the partners already. However, as this is a diversion from the structure that was developed in WP2 and approved by the Steering Committee so far, it is necessary to introduce this alternative concept to the entire team, so that everyone can get an in-depth understanding of it. We then also need to see if any changes regarding other deliverables are necessary if we adopt these changes, and we finally also need to cast a vote of acceptance as a team for either of the two frameworks that are now available to us as alternative e-internship concepts. It is important that at this point, where we are to start the first cohort, we have complete clarity about what the e-internship is going to look like, how it is going to be organized, and what in entails for each partner (including the cost for the simulation licences).
Therefore, Matt has offered to meet with the team next week to give an introduction to his framework. We can then have a discussion and Q&A session afterwards, and ideally come to a decision and conclusion so that we can start planning the roll-out of the first cohort without any further delay.
I suggest we schedule a zoom meeting for next Tuesday or Wednesday 11 am Berlin time. Please let me know which of the days is more conbvenient for you, as I would like to have everyone in the meeting.
Greetings,
Anja
