What does the language centre offer?
Students can take tailored courses to help them prepare for work placements and study periods abroad, as well as to broaden their intercultural skills. Meanwhile, a variety of courses in German as a foreign language are available to international students at the Language Centre. The Centre also offers students regular opportunities to take placement tests to ensure they are placed on courses that are at the right level for them or to give them evidence of their language skills when applying for scholarships for placements abroad. The Language Centre is able to advise HSWT students and staff on the general and specialist language courses available, be it courses during the semester or intensive courses during the holidays, face-to-face teaching or online. It is also available to support and advise students with their independent learning.
