Dear Team,

I hope you are doing well.

Following up on our last meeting, our team (EDI) and Free State have taken the lead in drafting a newsletter to capture our project’s performance and milestones over the past year. I have shared the draft content with you all and welcome your feedback and contributions to make this newsletter better.

While much of last year was focused on planning and foundational work, we believe there are valuable experiences and early wins worth highlighting. To ensure every partner is represented, we invite each of you to share:

  1. Key achievements or milestones from your team—even small steps forward are worth celebrating.

  2. A short message, quote, or reflection about the program or your involvement.

  3. Your institution’s high-resolution logo for the consortium/partner section.

  4. Any visuals—photos, charts, or graphics—that help tell your part of the story.

I am also seeking clarity on the primary audience for this newsletter. whether it’s internal stakeholders, potential partners, future interns, or a broader public audience.

Lastly, if anyone has skills or resources in design, layout, or graphics and can support the final presentation, your help would be greatly appreciated. We aim to keep the newsletter concise, engaging, and no longer than three pages.

Please review the draft and share your inputs by Friday, January 23.

Thank you

Warm regards,
Tsigereda

Dear colleagues,
I hope you are doing well.

From the communication here and through email, I can see that EDI suggested newsletter topics, while UFS mentioned that newsletter isn't good approach and that we should focus on social media posts.

Since EDI and UFS are the CDE leads, and suggested approaches for dissemination are different, which approach we will follow? We just need clarification on what to prepare and in which form.

To be honest, I think that posts/reels/testimonies on social media accounts will provide better dissemination of the AGRI MOCKS project and activities. Preparing a newsletter often takes time, but in the end, hardly anyone reads it.

Please just let us know how we approach this.

Have a nice weekend,
Dragana
